Holistic Financial Planning

Exceptional Service, Every Client

Proudly serving businesses, individuals & families since 1996.

The Holistic Financial Planning Approach

In our opinion, most people do not need a full-time investment manager, yet that is often all they get when they hire a financial advisor. We recommend a one-stop solution to cover more than just your investments.

Tax Planning & Preparation

By the time you file your tax return, opportunities may be missed. By effectively tax planning through the year, we identify tax savings before it’s too late.

Goals-Based Decisionmaking

Though we are experts in many financial matters, it is your life, your vision, and your legacy we partner to achieve. Therefore, we base our advice on your goals rather than our own.

Investment Management

Do you know the expenses associated with your funds? Are you properly diversified? Which 401(k) investments are best? We coordinate all these decisions.

Estate Planning

Are you aware how your assets will transfer to your heirs? Or, will your spouse be covered if anything happens to you? We ensure all those details are clear and up to date.

Retirement Planning

Whatever your vision for retirement, we help you realize it through establishing the right savings plan and coordinating how to  replace your paycheck in retirement.

Insurance & Benefits

For employees, we identify cost savings or gaps in coverage (without selling you a policy). For retirees, we provide guidance on Medicare, Social Security, & other needs (without selling policies).

FAQs

Do you have investment minimums?

No, we have partnered with clients who are just getting started out as well as those who have accumulated a sizeable nest egg.

Will I need to move my accounts?

For some advisors, you have to move accounts to their custodian to receive guidance. Since we charge a flat fee, our guidance covers all your accounts, from savings to HSAs to 401(k)s.

What are your fees?

We charge a flat, annual fee to our clients and are paid in no other way. Fees range from $2,800 to $30,000 per year, depending on net worth and complexity. See our Firm ADV Part II here.

Do you offer services a la carte?

No, we do not. We believe the holistic approach provides significant value to our clients and do not think we can fulfill our fiduciary obligation if we eliminate some of these services.

Do you do one-time engagements?

We do provide a Financial Tuneup to clients on a limited basis. This is a two-hour planning meeting with 30 days of email support thereafter, designed to cover two or three financial topics. The cost for this is $1,500.

How will I be treated?

We strongly believe that, as your advisors, we should be good listeners, polite, patient, and available. We understand you have worked hard for your wealth and that professional financial advice is not cheap. We do not take our role lightly.
